So the arm's been healed up for a while. Artwork direction is still all over the place, and I'm not sure whats going on with it myself most of the time. I know that's got to leave a few of you folk that take the time to visit my gallery confused. Some of my more popular art gets you here, and then all of a sudden you see tattoos, drawings of horses and MMA photos. To be honest, I post it because I use this art to share my artwork, so unlike other artists, if you subscribe to this single account you're gonna get all of what I do and not just what you're used to.
Not that there's anything wrong with artists here creating different accounts for their hand done work and their photography/stock and resources and so on and so forth. I actually see it as being quite considerate to those that follow them on deviantART. Its one of those things with me, I'm thankful for the attention and the praise I get here, but I'm going to continue to do what I do even if no one pays attention to me. So if you don't care for the tattooing or the MMA photos or the drastic jumps in subject matter as far as my illustration goes, I don't know what to tell you.
I guess aside from the fact that doing all this different stuff brings me joy and satisfaction, I'm still trying to find my financially artistic calling. Sports photography doesn't pay well as far as MMA goes, and even then its a small pond. Illustration can pay lucratively if you can get in, and fine art is pretty similar to that as well. However, since we're in a recession still in the United States, it doesn't matter much. That's pretty much what's gotten me into tattooing.
I haven't given up on anything I've done previously, nor am I willing to tie myself down to the title of just a tattoo artist just like I wasn't willing to just be an MMA photographer(not like I was really good at it) or illustrator or comic artist. I mean, I don't consider myself an artist at all, but I like to create in general.
So I guess that answers why my art work is all over the place. I suppose the next question would be why there isn't as much being submitted.
That's a pretty simple answer. I've been doing a lot of artwork since my arm's healed up, actually. However, I've chosen not to share a lot of it with dA, especially not the original works. Why, you say? Because of this:

So I've been nicer about the water marks and such, but they're not gonna go anywhere. Its just how its got to be, but if I find out its going on even after that, I'm gonna have to be more obnoxious about it.
I've been dedicating more time to my art and commissions, but I'm gonna speak on anything that isn't already done. It seems whenever I put my artistic plans out there on dA, it never happens. So I guess whatever is ready to go and of no consequence to anyone will be posted on dA soon enough.
That's just one of many thing about dA that has been progressively irritating me over the past couple of months (to the point where it's becoming more trouble than its worth to hang out around here), but I think that's all I'm going to share for now. For anyone to have cared to read this much, I really don't want to digitally talk yours ears off. You've read enough on my behalf.
Questions, concerns, comments? Comment or MSN me. I figured its a given by now that I do answer when someone asks me something no matter how silly the question or comment is.
