This piece is something I whipped up while in my New Directions in Illustration class. Though not an assignment, its something I'm going to hand in for extra credit. The real reason why I created this was that a friend of mine would possibly add a piece i've done to his favorites list. He's gained an assload of popularity on this site just from his Sonic the Hedgehog fan art. I know it isn't the greatest piece in the world, but I'm still learning alot about Adobe Photoshop and still have alot more to learn. I'm not a fan of this character or the series particularlly, though I really enjoyed the first three Sonic games for the Sega Genisis.

Whether you're a fan or not, I hope you enjoy it.

super sonic is the best! but he get's kind of hard to control whipping around the flying castle thing! ;D

its funny you mention that because he is a blatent knock off, the thing is, Sonic was popular here before Dragon Ball Z was, so of course no one here made that connection when his hair spiked up and he was able to fly. The only thing that would make it worse is if he started shooting beams.

There on the other hand, they just didn't care, alot of people steal ideas in Japan with total disregard of copyright infringement
